Welcome back to School!

Welcome back to school!  Our first week was wonderful!  In our math class we went over rituals and routines of math workshop.  We began our first lesson in Operations and Algebraic Thinking.  I read the story, Two of Everything by Lily Toy Hong.  We discussed the number patterns in the story and began creating t-charts for inputs and outputs of number patterns followed by a given rule.  I hope to show some of my student's work soon.  Below are some pictures of our classroom.

I can't wait for our 2nd week of school!  :)
